Not to even touch on that auden is the one who apologized to frey for what she said. If I opened my home to another downtrodden person and they ate my food, slept in my bed, met my friends and then turned around and started telling me we could all go die that person would be deservedly hated and removed. I'm out." I wouldn't have blamed someone for choking her out for that ♥♥♥♥. And let's not forget the "Oh your dad died about three minutes ago? Cool don't give a ♥♥♥♥ I didn't have parents. If we're calling people who ONLY act when doing the right thing is directly and obviously beneficial to their self centered desires hero's now then we're at a sad point of storytelling. She would have taken the portal to ny and been done and would never thought about those people again. She is intensely selfish, if her mother hadn't been who she was, even if Frey retained all that power, she wouldn't have helped. Her turn to a 'hero' is even selfish because she doesn't do it to help those people, she's helping now because it's HER home. She only starts to give a ♥♥♥♥ when she realizes who her mother is. Prior to that, her motivations start and remain entirely selfish and uncaring for anyone around her. She doesn't change in the slightest until the literal ending hours of the game. Having someone invite you into their home, free you from imprisonment at great personal risk and ask literally nothing from you (At least initially) and you respond with vitriol is disgusting. Generosity is one of the biggest things you can do for someone who is used to everyone just taking and taking. As a fellow poor who had an incredibly unfortunate early life, Frey is intensely unlikable.
